Facts about Insurance.pdf - Dr. Julie B. Marshall & Dr. Douglas P. Baxter -

Dental insurance coverage depends on the individual policy.  The insurance companies determine the specific restrictions and limitations for each plan.  Because most plans are only intended to cover the basics, there is an annual maximum allowable benefit of $1000.00-$2000.00 on most plans.

We are not a contracted provider with any insurance companies or Preferred Provider organization, but as a courtesy to our patients, we will file appropiate dental claims for you. Before any treatment is completed, we can file a pre-treatment estimate to your insurance company and get a better idea of your specific insurance coverage.

We tell our patients that a pre-estimate can take up to 4-6 weeks to return to us.

If for any reason the "estimated" amount is not paid by your insurance company, it becomes your obligation.

We are not able to file to any medical insurance providers.
